How do I find the right home?

To help you find the right home we have developed our Quick Search. You can search by location or refine your search based on bedrooms, price, or property type [e.g. house].

We will show you where our developments are located using a Google Map. Once you have found one in your desired location you can view all the homes that meet your criteria.

Our website will let you explore the development to find the most suitably located home. Information about each home includes pictures, floor plans and more.

But then come and visit us at your chosen development.

Why buy a new home?

There are many reasons for buying a brand new home. New homes are more energy efficient than older properties and quieter due to advances in sound insulation methods. They are also built to high safety standards to meet strict regulations.

For your peace of mind, new homes are protected by the National House Building Council (NHBC) 10-year Buildmark warranty and insurance should there be any problems.

Apart from these practical considerations, there is the advantage of starting afresh, in a new community, with a blank canvas to create the home of your dreams. Our homes come with fitted kitchens and bathrooms and you have a choice of fittings and finishes. You can also customise your home with our Finishing Touches.

Older properties can have high maintenance costs. You may need to improve the decorations and replace worn out kitchens, bathrooms, windows, wiring etc. If you choose an Octave home you may be able to take advantage of one of our many attractive promotional offers to help you buy your dream home.

During Purchase

What happens whilst my home is being built?

We will provide you with full details of your chosen home to help you make decisions about furniture and fittings.

Depending on the stage of build, we will explain your options for features such as kitchen designs, tiling and flooring finishes and help you select the right option for you.

If you visit the site, we provide any protective clothing necessary and give clear health and safety advice.

We will keep you updated on progress at regular intervals - and you can contact our Customer Helpline on 01732 780841 at any time for further details. At handover

We will provide you with full information on any guarantees and cover you are entitled to and relevant contact details.

We will demonstrate how to use your new appliances and provide you with all relevant instruction manuals.

Aftercare

What happens once I have moved in?

We will provide you with an Octave Homes after sales contact number that you can contact for routine service matters, or in an emergency.
